Motor protection circuit breaker for panel builders
Breaking capacity reaches 100 kA at 240 V and 400 V, dropping to 42 kA at 500 V and 4 kA at 690 V. For high-fault installations above 400 V, the spec recommends upstream gL/gG fuses: 50 A at 400 V, 40 A at 500 V, 35 A at 690 V. Motor ratings are 1 hp at 230 V, 8 A at 480 V, and 8 A at 600 V — useful for sizing across North American and IEC voltage systems. Switching frequency is rated at 15 operations per hour for both AC-3 and AC-3e duty — fine for motor starting cycles, not for high-speed jogging.
Dimensions and wiring
Main contact terminals accept M3 screws, with wire capacity of 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded.
