Motor protection circuit breaker — SIRIUS 3RV2011-1KA40
The Siemens 3RV2011-1KA40 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker with phase failure detection and Trip Class 10. Rated breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 400 V and 240 V, so this breaker can safely interrupt high-fault-current faults on a 400 V distribution bus without cascading upstream — a key spec for SCCR coordination in industrial panels. The 45 mm wide housing mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 60715, in any mounting position. That 45 mm width means it occupies a single modular slot in a typical DIN-rail panel layout.
Integration and mounting
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 — screw and snap-on fastening method. Any mounting position is permitted. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm at the side, 0 mm forwards and backwards. Main circuit connections use ring cable lug connections with M3 screws. The compact 45×97×97 mm (W×H×D) footprint fits standard motor starter assemblies.
