Mounting and wiring — what fits where
The S0 footprint — 45 mm wide, 97 mm deep, 97 mm tall — is the standard for this current range, so it drops into any panel that already has a Siemens S0 slot. Screw terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (1…2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5…10 mm²) solid or stranded; the M4 main-contact screws take a Pozidriv size 2 tip or a 5–6 mm diameter screwdriver shaft. Clearance: 50 mm above and below, 30 mm to the sides, zero forward or backward — tight enough for a crowded gland plate, but leave that vertical breathing room for arc-chamber venting.
What it detects — and what it doesn't
Ground fault detection is not included (no GFI module inside), so if your application requires ground-fault protection on the motor feeder, you'll need to add an external ground-fault relay or specify a different variant. Any mounting position is allowed, which simplifies panel layout.
