Motor protection circuit breaker, 1 A, Class 10 — panel fit and ratings
The Siemens 3RV2021-0JA20-0BA0 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker in size S0, rated 1 A at AC-3 400 V with Trip Class 10, designed to protect motor feeders in control panels. It mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, in any orientation, with 45 mm width and 97 mm depth — fits standard S0 slot in a panel layout. Breaking capacity holds at 100 kA across 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC — that means it can interrupt a bolted fault up to that level without upstream coordination failure, which simplifies SCCR compliance in a branch circuit. Phase failure detection is built in; ground fault detection is not included on this variant.
Integration — DIN rail, spring-loaded terminals, clearances
Spring-loaded terminals on the main current circuit accept 2x 1–10 mm² solid or stranded conductors; screwdriver shaft diameter 3 mm, tip 3.0 x 0.5 mm for the terminal screws. Required clearances: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm at the sides, 0 mm forwards and backwards — tight panel spacing is workable. Rated operating temperature range -50 to +60 °C; storage and transport range -50 to +80 °C.
