Motor protection circuit breaker for panel integration
It occupies a 45 mm wide footprint on the rail, with a depth of 97 mm and height of 97 mm. The breaker includes phase failure detection, so a lost phase on the line side will trip the motor off, preventing single-phasing damage. Breaking capacity is 100 kA at 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V, and also at 240 V.
Motor power and current ratings
Rated for a 0.2 kW motor at 230 V, 1 hp at 460/480 V, and 0.5 hp at 575/600 V. The auxiliary contact block handles 1 A at 24 V, 0.5 A at 120/125/230 V, and 0.15 A at 60 V. Maximum operating frequency is 15 switching cycles per hour in AC-3 and AC-3e duty — sufficient for typical conveyor or pump start-stop cycles, not for high-speed jogging.
Mounting position is any orientation. Required clearances: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm at the sides, 0 mm forwards and backwards — meaning it can be stacked against the back panel and adjacent devices without side gaps, as long as vertical breathing space is maintained. Screw-type terminals on the main current circuit accept 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire. Main contact screws are M4.
