Rated at 1.6 A at both 480 V and 600 V, it covers fractional-horsepower motors up to 1 hp at 460/480 V and 0.8 hp at 575/600 V. It detects phase failure as well as overload, so a single-phased motor won't cook on two legs. No ground-fault detection built in — that's a separate add-on or a different family member.
Spring-loaded terminals on the main current circuit accept 2× 0.5 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded wire — no screw clamping, so you save a turn per termination. Keep the strip length clean; whiskers under the spring cage cause intermittent faults down the road. Dimensions are 97 mm deep, 45 mm wide, 119 mm tall.
The storage range is wider because it's not dissipating heat — that's the handling limit, not the running limit. Rated voltage covers 20 to 690 V AC, so it works on 24 V control transformers as well as 480 V motor circuits.
