It combines a circuit breaker and overload relay in one device for protecting motors against short-circuit and overload conditions.
This breaker delivers 100 kA breaking capacity at 240 V, 400 V, and 500 V AC, dropping to 10 kA at 690 V AC.
Any mounting position is permitted, so horizontal rail orientation in a shallow enclosure works. The spring-loaded terminals accept 2 × 1 to 10 mm² solid or stranded conductors; strip length and screwdriver size (3 mm diameter, 3.0 × 0.5 mm tip) follow standard panel practice.
Protection features and operating limits
Ground fault detection is not included, so a separate ground-fault relay is needed if that protection is required. Temperature compensation is active from -20 to +60 °C, maintaining trip accuracy across the operating range. Maximum switching frequency at AC-3 duty is 15 operations per hour; thermal dissipation in hot operating state is 7.25 W at rated AC current — account for that heat in the enclosure calculation.
