Motor starter protector, size S0 — 2.2…3.2 A overload, 42 A short-circuit release
The Siemens 3RV2021-1DA10-0DA0 is a SIRIUS 3RV2 motor starter protector in size S0, designed for system protection without phase failure protection. The A-release (thermal overload) is adjustable from 2.2 to 3.2 A, and the short-circuit release is fixed at 42 A. This combination means the device provides both overload and short-circuit protection for a motor or feeder in that current band — the 42 A magnetic trip clears a fault before the thermal element can overheat, while the 2.2–3.2 A range lets you dial in the full-load current of the connected load. Termination is via screw terminals, and the unit carries standard switching capacity for typical industrial panel duty.
