The 3RV2021-1FA15: Rated for operating voltages from 20 to 690 V, it covers standard low-voltage motor circuits worldwide. It includes phase failure detection, so if one phase drops out, the breaker trips to prevent single-phasing damage to the motor — a common failure mode in field-aged contactors or blown fuses.
Breaking capacity and panel fit
The 3RV2021-1FA15 carries a 100 kA breaking capacity at 240 V, 400 V, and 500 V, and 4 kA at 690 V. At 480 V and 600 V the rated current is 5 A. Main circuit terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²), with M4 screws. The auxiliary contact block (if fitted) shares the same terminal size — no separate tooling needed.
