What this breaker does in a panel
Rated 4 kW at 230 V, it handles small-to-medium motor loads common on conveyor and pump circuits.
At 400 V, the 3RV2021-4AA10-0DA0 delivers 25 kA breaking capacity (55 kA under AC conditions at 400 V), which gives enough headroom for most industrial panel SCCR requirements. The gG fuse backup ratings — 63 A at 400 V, 50 A at 500 V, 40 A at 690 V — tell you the maximum upstream fuse that preserves selectivity; exceed those and the breaker may not clear a fault before the fuse blows.
The S0 frame size (97 mm height, 45 mm width, 97 mm depth) is the standard footprint for this class; clearance requirements are 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm to the side, and zero forwards or backwards — so it can sit flush against the backplane. Main contact terminals accept 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5 to 10 mm²) solid or stranded wire, terminated with M4 screws.
