Breaking capacity that decides the panel
The breaker mounts in any position, which helps when the panel layout is tight and the gland plate forces a sideways orientation. Terminals accept 2×(1…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2×(2.5…10 mm²), with M4 screws on the main contacts. The wiring clearance callout is 50 mm upward and downward, 30 mm sideways, and zero forward/backward — so the breaker can sit flush against a backplate or busbar.
Motor protection specifics
Designed for motor protection with phase-failure detection built in — no separate phase-loss relay needed. No ground-fault detection, so that function must come from the upstream device or a separate module. Rated operating voltage spans 20…690 V, and the short-circuit protection coordination with upstream fuses is gL/gG 63 A at 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V — useful when coordinating with a fused disconnect. Maximum switching frequency under AC-3 and AC-3e duty is 15 operations per hour — fine for a pump or conveyor start, but not for a jogging or reversing application that cycles faster.
