Trip class and switching duty
Class 10 means the bimetal trip operates within 10 seconds at 7.2× the thermal setting — standard for general-purpose induction motors that don't need the faster Class 5 or the slower Class 20. The maximum switching frequency in AC-3 duty is 15 operations per hour, so it's sized for a motor starting a few times per shift, not a jogging or inching application.
Mounting and clearances — no surprises on the rail
The body is 55 mm wide and 149 mm deep. Clearance requirements: 50 mm above, 50 mm below, 10 mm to the side. Zero clearance forward or backward — so you can pack it against a backplane or a cover without derating. Screw terminals accept 2×(1–25 mm²) or 1×(1–35 mm²) stranded or solid, main contacts M6.
