The Class 20 trip curve means it allows 20 seconds of locked-rotor current before tripping — correct for standard motor start profiles on pumps, fans, and compressors.
Clearance requirements: 50 mm upward and downward, 10 mm at the side. At 400 V no additional clearance is required; at 690 V the upward/downward clearance is 125 mm and 80 mm respectively, and side clearance climbs to 100 mm.
Rated short-circuit breaking capacity: 100 kA at 240 V, 30 kA at 400 V, 5 kA at 500 V, 2 kA at 690 V. That 30 kA at 400 V covers most industrial service-entrance fault levels; the 2 kA at 690 V is sufficient for 690 V distribution with upstream current-limiting fuses or a higher-rated breaker.
