Motor protection circuit breaker for critical spares
This breaker includes phase failure detection, which is essential for three-phase motor protection — a lost phase can single-phase a motor and draw locked-rotor current on the remaining phases without the overload element seeing the full imbalance. The detection circuit catches that condition and trips before winding damage sets in.
The 55 mm width fits a standard 3-module footprint on the rail, leaving room alongside a contactor for a compact motor starter assembly. Depth is 149 mm, so verify clearance to the backplane or enclosure door — some shallow 200 mm deep enclosures will need the breaker mounted on a sub-panel or rail offset. Terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded copper. Main contact screw size is M6.
