Motor Protection Circuit Breaker for High-Fault Panels
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2032-4PA10 is a motor protection circuit breaker designed for protecting three-phase motors against overloads and short circuits. Its Trip Class 10 ensures fast tripping during locked-rotor conditions, matching standard motor start profiles. The 50 kA breaking capacity at 400 V means it can safely interrupt high fault currents without upstream fuses in most industrial panels. Phase failure detection is built in, so a lost phase on the line side trips the breaker before the motor overheats.
Mounting and Integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. Any mounting position is allowed. The 55 mm width fits standard 3-module spacing on a DIN rail. Main circuit terminals accept 2x 1–35 mm² or 1x 1–50 mm² solid or stranded wire, with M6 screws for the main contacts. Clearance: 50 mm above and below, 10 mm at the sides.
