Motor protection circuit breaker for panel integration
The Siemens 3RV2032-4RA15 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker designed for Class 10 trip response, meaning it disconnects within 10 seconds at 7.2× the thermal setting — fast enough to protect standard induction motors against locked-rotor events without nuisance tripping on normal starts. It carries a rated operational voltage range of 20 to 690 V and delivers a breaking capacity of 160 kA at 400 V, 125 kA at 500 V, and 100 kA at 690 V, so it can interrupt high-fault currents in industrial distribution without upstream coordination. The auxiliary contact block supports 1 A at 24 V, 0.15 A at 60 V, and 0.5 A at 230 V, covering PLC-level signal feedback.
Main circuit terminals are M6 screw-type, accepting 2×(0.5–1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75–2.5 mm²) solid or stranded conductors.
