Motor protection circuit breaker for panel integration
Rated 45 A continuous at both 480 V and 600 V, it covers the common North American motor full-load current range up to a 30 hp at 480 V or a 40 hp at 600 V. Trip class is CLASS 10, so it clears an overload in under 10 seconds at 600% of the thermal setting. That matches the standard starting profile of a NEMA Design B motor — the breaker holds through the inrush but trips before the winding reaches its thermal limit on a stalled rotor.
Mounting and clearance for a retrofit or new panel
Dimensions: 55 mm wide, 140 mm tall, 149 mm deep. The 55 mm width is three 18 mm module widths — a standard footprint for a SIRIUS motor-protective device. Any mounting position works, so it can go sideways in a tight gland-plate zone if the vertical clearance is tight. Terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded copper. Main contact torque is M6 — standard for this current class.
