Ground fault detection is not included, so a separate ground-fault relay or RCD is needed if that protection is required.
The 70 mm width and 165 mm height are standard for the SIRIUS 3RV2 frame size; depth is 176 mm. These are the minimum air gaps for arc venting and heat dissipation — respect them in the panel layout to maintain the rated breaking capacity.
Breaking capacity and motor ratings
Breaking capacity varies by voltage: 100 kA at 240 VAC, 100 kA at 400 VAC, 18 kA at 500 VAC, and 12 kA at 690 VAC. At 480 V the rated current is 40 A; at 600 V it is also 40 A. Motor horsepower ratings: 3 hp at 110/120 V, 15 hp at 200/208 V and 220/230 V, 30 hp at 460/480 V, and 40 hp at 575/600 V. These are the maximum three-phase induction motor sizes the breaker can protect at the respective voltages.
Terminal capacity and environmental limits
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (2.5 to 16 mm²) for the smaller range, and 2x (2.5 to 50 mm²) or 1x (10 to 70 mm²) for the larger. This covers typical motor feeder cables up to 70 mm².
