Motor protection circuit breaker, SIRIUS series
Phase failure detection is included; ground fault detection is not built in.
At 230 V rated value it handles 0.1 kW motor loads, so it is sized for smaller motors in conveyor, pump, or fan duty. Class 10 trip ensures the breaker disconnects before the motor winding overheats during a stall — the standard for standard-duty induction motors. The 15 operations per hour maximum at AC-3 duty governs repetitive starting; a furnace fan cycling more often needs a higher-rated device. The operating temperature range of -20 to +60 °C with temperature compensation allows deployment in unconditioned enclosures near furnaces or ovens, as long as the ambient stays within that span. Storage range extends to -50 to +80 °C.
Any mounting position is permitted. Clearance requirements: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 0 mm forwards and backwards, 30 mm at the side — tight enough for dense panels. Dimensions are 97 mm deep, 65 mm wide, and 97 mm high. The M3 screw terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded conductors.
