Motor protection circuit breaker with integrated overload relay
Breaking capacity reaches 100 kA at 400 V and 500 V, and 4 kA at 690 V — sufficient for high-fault-current installations without needing upstream current-limiting fuses in most panel designs. The short-circuit ratings use gL/gG fuse coordination: 50 A at 400 V, 40 A at 500 V, 35 A at 690 V.
Clearance requirements: 50 mm above and below, 30 mm to the side, 0 mm front and back — plan the enclosure layout accordingly. Screw-type terminals on the main current circuit accept 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded conductors. Main contact screw size is M3.
Maximum switching frequency in AC-3 duty is 15 operations per hour, which governs motor starting cycles — fine for most pump and conveyor applications, but check if your cycle rate exceeds this.
