SIRIUS S00 circuit breaker for starter combinations
It delivers 100 kA rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) at 400 V AC — the same across 240 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC — so it clears a fault up to that level without cascading upstream, which is what you need when coordinating a motor branch circuit in a panel. Rated operational voltage spans 20 to 690 V, covering most low-voltage motor control schemes. The breaker is rated for AC-3 and AC-3e duty at a maximum of 15 switching operations per hour — that's the mechanical endurance for motor starting, not continuous load switching, so it fits a starter combination that cycles a few times per hour. Main circuit connections are screw-type terminals accepting 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid/stranded or 2x 4 mm². The S00 frame size keeps the width at 45 mm, depth at 97 mm, height at 97 mm — fits a standard 45 mm-wide DIN slot with 50 mm clearance above and below, 30 mm to the side.
Environmental and installation limits
No ground-fault or phase-failure detection built in — those are handled upstream or by a separate module. The breaker is designed for starter combinations, meaning it integrates with a contactor and overload relay in a coordinated motor branch.
