Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5 to 10 mm²) solid or stranded copper.
Motor ratings and breaking capacity
Rated for motor loads across common North American and IEC voltages: 3 hp at 200/208 V and 220/230 V, 8 hp at 460/480 V, 10 hp at 575/600 V. At 230 V it delivers 2 hp. The continuous current rating at 480 V is 12.5 A, same at 600 V — that's the thermal-magnetic trip threshold for overload protection. Breaking capacity varies by voltage: 100 kA at 240 V and 400 V AC, 42 kA at 500 V AC, 4 kA at 690 V AC.
Operating environment
The rated insulation voltage spans 20 to 690 V. No ground-fault or phase-failure detection built in — those functions are handled upstream or by the connected starter assembly.
