What it is and where it lands
The Siemens 3RV2332-4VC10 is a SIRIUS circuit breaker designed specifically for starter combinations — meaning it integrates into a motor starter assembly as the branch-circuit protection and disconnecting means, not a standalone feeder breaker. Its 50 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without upstream fuses needing to clear first, which simplifies coordination in a motor control center. Mounts via screw and snap-on onto standard 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, any position, so it drops into existing SIRIUS panels without re-drilling.
Sizing and fit
The 55 mm width and 149 mm depth are the critical panel-space numbers — at 55 mm wide it occupies three standard 18 mm DIN modules, so check your rail length and side clearances (10 mm side clearance required). Main contact terminals accept 2x 1–35 mm² or 1x 1–50 mm² solid or stranded copper, M6 screw-type. Clearance spacings: 50 mm above and below, 10 mm to the sides, zero forward or backward. Plan your gland plate and busbar drops accordingly.
