The 65 kA at 400 V AC applies under a different test condition (likely higher prospective current or a specific upstream fuse/breaker pairing), so the 30 kA is the conservative figure for general duty.
Any mounting position is acceptable. Clearance requirements: 150 mm upward and downward, 30 mm at the sides, zero forward or backward — so plan for vertical breathing space but no extra depth behind the rail.
Termination and conductor sizing
Main circuit terminals are screw-type. Accepts solid or stranded conductors: 2x (2.5... 16 mm²) for the smaller pair, and for the larger connection 2x (2.5... 50 mm²) or 1x (10... 70 mm²). That covers everything from control-circuit wiring up to a 70 mm² main feeder — no need for lug adapters on typical motor branch circuits up to about 50 A.
Environmental and operating limits
The storage limit is wider because it governs handling, not running — fine for warehouse or trucking. Rated voltage span is 20... 690 V, covering most low-voltage three-phase systems globally.
