Transformer-protection circuit breaker in the SIRIUS S00 frame
Rated breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC — that is full-range fault clearance without cascading upstream, a real advantage when coordinating selectivity in a transformer secondary circuit.
Panel integration — DIN rail footprint and clearances
Clearance requirements: 50 mm above and below, 30 mm to the side, zero forward or backward. That zero forward clearance means the breaker can sit flush against a gland plate or back panel without derating. Screwdriver shaft diameter is 3 mm, tip size 3.0 × 0.5 mm — standard Pozidriv or slotted, no special tooling needed on the line.
Storage and transport handle -50 to +80 °C. The rated voltage range is 20 to 690 V, covering low-voltage control transformers up to 690 V secondary. Maximum switching frequency in AC-3 duty is 15 operations per hour — adequate for a transformer primary disconnect that cycles infrequently, not for a motor-starting application needing frequent inrush.
