What this SIRIUS breaker does on a transformer primary
That distinction matters: the trip curve and magnetic release are tuned for the inrush characteristic of a transformer, so it holds through the magnetizing surge without nuisance tripping, then clears fast on a hard fault. Breaking capacity is 100 kA at 400 V and 500 V, dropping to 10 kA at 690 V.
Mounting and wiring — panel integration
The 45 mm width (three module spaces) fits standard enclosure layouts. Any mounting position is allowed — no derating for horizontal or inverted orientation. No screw torque to verify — just strip to 8 mm and push in. Clearance distances: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm to the side, 0 mm forwards and backwards. Depth is 97 mm, height 106 mm — check your enclosure depth if mounting against a back panel or door-mounted components.
Ground fault detection is not included; if that's required, a separate ground-fault relay would need to be added downstream.
