The Siemens 3RV2411-1EA10 is a SIRIUS circuit breaker specifically designed for transformer protection — not a general-purpose motor protective breaker. At 690 V it still clears 4 kA, covering the high-voltage end of the range. Fuse backup coordination is specified: gL/gG 32 A at 400 V and 500 V, derating to 25 A at 690 V. That tells the panel builder exactly what upstream fuse holds selectivity.
The 45 mm width fits a standard 2.5-module slot; depth is 97 mm, which clears most 100 mm-deep enclosures. Any mounting position is permitted, so vertical or horizontal rail orientation works. That keeps heat dissipation from derating the trip curve when multiple breakers are ganged. Main circuit terminals accept 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or a single 4 mm² — screw-type terminals with M3 contact screws. Wire the line and load sides to the same torque spec.
Environmental and operating limits
Operates from -20 °C to +60 °C, stores and ships from -50 °C to +80 °C. That covers most plant-floor and warehouse conditions without special derating. Rated operating voltage spans 20 to 690 V AC.
