The Siemens 3RV2411-1EA15 is a SIRIUS circuit breaker designed specifically for transformer protection, with a rated voltage range of 20 to 690 V. It carries a 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V, 500 V, and 240 V, and a 4 kA rating at 690 V. The Trip Class 10 characteristic means it trips fast enough to protect a transformer winding from sustained overload without nuisance tripping on inrush.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The 45 mm width and 97 mm depth fit standard panel layouts, and any mounting position is allowed. Phase failure detection is built in, so it will drop the load if one phase is lost — a useful feature for transformer-fed circuits where single-phasing can cause overheating.
