Transformer-protection circuit breaker with Class 10 trip
It carries a Trip Class 10 characteristic, meaning it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the thermal setting — fast enough to limit transformer inrush stress without nuisance tripping on magnetizing current. Ground fault detection is not included, so if that's required, you'd need an external relay or a different variant.
Breaking capacity and voltage ratings
At 240 V AC this breaker interrupts 100 kA; at 400 V AC it's rated 65 kA. At 690 V AC the breaking capacity drops to 2 kA, so for 690 V primary circuits verify the available fault current stays under that. The rated insulation voltage spans 20 to 690 V, covering standard low-voltage distribution.
The 55 mm width and 149 mm depth fit standard panel layouts; clearance requirements are 50 mm above and below, 10 mm to the side, and zero forward/backward clearance needed. Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2× (1 to 35 mm²) or 1× (1 to 50 mm²) solid or stranded copper. Torque to M6 for the main contacts.
