The Siemens 3RV2711-0HD10 is a SIRIUS circuit breaker in size S00, designed for system protection per UL 489 and CSA C22.2 No. 5. The interrupting rating is a flat 100 kA across the board — 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC — which means it clears faults up to that level without cascading upstream, regardless of the service voltage. That is unusual for a compact S00 frame and simplifies coordination studies: one SCCR number for the whole panel. Rated operating voltage spans 20 to 690 V, so it covers 400 V three-phase distribution and 690 V industrial supplies off the same order code. The AC-3 maximum switching frequency is 15 operations per hour — sized for motor starting duty, not continuous resistive switching.
No NRND flag, no last-time-buy window. The SIRIUS S00 platform is widely specified in European and North American panels, so the supply channel is stable.
Integration and mounting notes
The S00 frame measures 45 mm wide by 144 mm tall by 97 mm deep — that depth is the body only; forward clearance is 0 mm, so no extra space needed in front of the rail. Upwards clearance 70 mm, downwards 70 mm, sideways 30 mm. Screw terminals with a Pozidriv size 2 tip and a 5 to 6 mm screwdriver shaft diameter. Mounting position is any — vertical, horizontal, or inverted — no derating for orientation.
The main contacts are rated for 100,000 typical mechanical operations. No ground fault detection and no phase failure detection built in.
