The Siemens 3RV2901-1J is a SIRIUS lateral auxiliary switch that clips onto the side of 3RV2 motor-protective circuit breakers in frame sizes S00, S0, S2, and S3. It provides 2 normally-open and 2 normally-closed instantaneous contacts via screw-type terminals, rated for switching at 690 V up to 10 A in AC-12 duty — the maximum continuous resistive load the contacts can handle. At 24 V it switches 2 A; at 230 V it switches 4 A; and at 690 V the AC-15 inductive rating drops to 1 A, which governs motor-control-circuit applications like contactor coils. The 18 mm width and 68 mm depth keep it within the breaker's side profile, so it adds no extra DIN-rail footprint.
Fastens via plug-in fixing — no tools needed to latch it onto the breaker side. Accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm² (2 x 0.5…1.5 mm² or 2 x 0.75…2.5 mm² per terminal), or AWG 20 to 14. Screw terminals are standard for the auxiliary and control circuit.
