The Siemens 3RV2902-1DF0 is a SIRIUS shunt release designed for remote tripping of 3RV2 motor circuit breakers. It accepts a 90-110 V AC control supply at 50 or 60 Hz and, when energized, mechanically trips the breaker — useful for emergency-stop circuits or supervisory shutdown from a PLC or safety relay. It snaps onto DIN rail alongside the breaker and connects via screw terminals. Rated for pollution degree 3, it handles the industrial environment inside a panel without derating. The maximum break time is 20 ms, so the breaker opens fast enough to clear a fault before downstream damage spreads.
Mounting and fit
The housing is 19 mm wide, 90 mm tall, and 68 mm deep — one modular width. No auxiliary contacts are included; the release is a pure trip actuator.
RoHS compliant per the substance prohibition date of 05/01/2012. The reference code per EN 61346-2 is F, and the design of short-circuit protection is fuse-based. For a panel builder or maintenance planner, the compliance paperwork (CE, RoHS) is standard with the SIRIUS line; no special documentation request is needed.
