The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2902-1DS0 is a shunt release — a remote-trip accessory for 3RV2 motor circuit breakers. It sits on the breaker's left side via snap-on mounting, adding a control-voltage-operated trip coil that lets a PLC, E-stop circuit, or remote pushbutton open the breaker without anyone walking to the panel. The control supply is AC only, 500 V at 50/60 Hz. It's rated for 100% ON period at 500 V AC, and also listed for a 5-second ON period at 500 V DC — meaning it can be pulsed from a DC source for a short interval, but continuous DC hold is not supported. Minimum closing power is 13 W DC, so verify your control transformer can deliver that inrush. Connection is via screw-type terminals on the auxiliary/control circuit. The unit breaks the circuit in a maximum of 20 ms from coil energization — fast enough for most emergency-off and interlock sequences.
Snap-on mounting onto the 3RV2 breaker frame — no tools needed. The 19 mm width means it adds one modular unit to the breaker's footprint. Overall dimensions are 19 x 90 x 68 mm (W x H x D). Depth of 68 mm is the same as the base breaker; no extra panel depth required. Compatible with 3RV2 breakers in sizes S00, S0, S2, and S3 — that covers the full SIRIUS 3RV2 motor-protective circuit-breaker range from 0.1 A up to 100 A. If your panel has a 3RV2, this shunt release clips on.
Insulation rated at 690 V AC with pollution degree 3.
