What it is and where it fits
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2935-5E is a 3-phase supply terminal designed for the 3RV2 circuit breaker family, size S2. It's the type E (top-feed) variant, meaning power enters from above and distributes to the breaker's line side. This is the piece that connects your incoming feeder cables — solid or stranded — to the busbar system feeding the motor protection breaker. Rated for 105 A ampacity with an insulation voltage of 690 V at pollution degree 3, it handles the full current range of an S2-frame breaker. The screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (2.5 to 50 mm²) or 1x (2.5 to 70 mm²) per phase, with a separate reduced range for ferruled ends. That 70 mm² single-wire capacity is the one to watch — it lets you land a heavy feeder without paralleling smaller cables. Panel integration is straightforward: the terminal block is 55 mm wide, 66 mm tall, and 77 mm deep. That 77 mm depth is the critical dimension for enclosure depth planning — it's the projection from the DIN rail or mounting surface. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C, with storage tolerance from -50 to +80 °C.
