It combines a thermal overload relay (Class 10) and a magnetic short-circuit release in one compact 45 mm wide housing. Rated at 0.4 A operational current on a 690 V AC, 50/60 Hz system, it provides coordinated motor branch protection in control panels. The 96 mm depth fits standard shallow enclosures; 45 mm width occupies one standard module slot.
The 0.4 A rated operational current (at AC-3 duty, 690 V max) sets the motor FLA this breaker protects. AC-3 is the standard motor-switching category (squirrel-cage motors, starting and switching off during running). The operating frequency is capped at 15 switching cycles per hour — fine for typical pump or fan duty; not for high-cycling applications like rapid indexing. Total typical power loss is 5 W at rated current. Terminals accept 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid/stranded or 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for the main circuit; auxiliary contacts use 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrules. AWG equivalents: main 2× (18 to 12) or 2× (20 to 16); auxiliary 2× (20 to 16) or 2× (18 to 14). Torque for main screw terminals: 0.8 to 1.2 N·m.
