The Siemens 3RV6011-1AA15 is a SIRIUS motor-protection circuit breaker in the S00 frame size, rated 1.6 A operational current at 690 V AC-3, 50-60 Hz. Trip Class 10 thermal overload release paired with a magnetic short-circuit trip — covers the two protection curves a motor branch needs: overload (thermal) and short-circuit (magnetic). The 1.6 A rating sets the full-load current it carries continuously; the magnetic trip clears faults fast enough to protect the downstream contactor and cable.
Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, screw-fastened as well. 45 mm wide, 97 mm tall, 96 mm deep — fits a standard S00 footprint. Mounting position any, so vertical or horizontal panel layouts work. Clearance: 50 mm above and below, 30 mm at the sides, zero forward or backward — lets you pack rows tight if the heat rise stays within the -20 to +60 °C operating range. Accepts 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, AWG 18–12 for main contacts. Torque 0.8–1.2 N·m. Typical power loss 6 W total — negligible in a ventilated enclosure but factor into a sealed panel's thermal budget.
