Transformer-protection breaker, S00 frame, 2 A
The Siemens 3RV6411-1BA10 is a SIRIUS circuit breaker for transformer protection with thermal overload release and magnetic short-circuit trip. Rated 2 A at 690 V, 3-pole, Trip Class 10, size S00 frame: 45 mm wide, 97 mm tall, 96 mm deep. At 400 V AC-3 duty it delivers the same 2 A — the rating holds across the motor-starting load curve. The 6 W typical power loss is modest for a 3-pole breaker at this frame size; panel heat buildup is manageable even in a densely packed enclosure. Operating frequency tops out at 15 switching cycles per hour at AC-3, so this is sized for occasional switching, not continuous cycling. Ambient range during operation is -20 to +60 °C; storage range is -50 to +80 °C, covering most industrial environments.
Mounting and wiring
Mounts in any position on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 — screw or snap-on, no adapter needed. The S00 frame leaves 50 mm clearance above and below, 30 mm at the sides, and zero forward/backward clearance required, so it packs tight against adjacent devices in a panel row. Main circuit terminals are screw-type, top and bottom entry, accepting 2×(0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid/stranded or 2×4 mm², or 2×(18 to 12) AWG. Finely stranded with ferrule: 2×(0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75 to 2.5 mm²). Terminal torque: 0.8 to 1.2 N·m.
