Transformer-protection circuit breaker, 4 A, Class 10
The Siemens 3RV6411-1EA10 is a SIRIUS circuit breaker explicitly designed for transformer protection, with a rated operational current of 4 A and a thermal-magnetic trip curve. The thermal overload release handles sustained overcurrents, while the magnetic short-circuit trip clears faults fast. The Class 10 trip class means it can ride through transformer inrush without nuisance tripping — that's the whole point of this variant. Rated for 690 V and 50/60 Hz, it fits into the S00 frame size, which is the most compact in the SIRIUS family for this current range.
Mounting and panel integration
Mounts on standard 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with screw terminals for the main circuit. The S00 footprint is 45 mm wide, 97 mm high, and 96 mm deep — that's the dimension to check for enclosure depth clearance. Clearance requirements around the breaker: 50 mm above and below, 30 mm to the side, and zero forward or backward. Any mounting position is allowed, so it'll fit in tight spots as long as those clearance zones are respected.
