Undervoltage release for SIRIUS S00/S0 breakers
The Siemens 3RV6902-1AP0 is a SIRIUS undervoltage release designed specifically for motor circuit breakers in frame sizes S00 and S0. The break time is a maximum of 20 ms — fast enough to drop the main contactor before a downstream fault escalates.
Integration into a motor circuit breaker panel
The release snaps onto the left side of a SIRIUS 3RV2 motor circuit breaker in frame S00 or S0. The 19 mm width means it adds minimal DIN rail real estate — useful when the panel is already tight on fill factor. The screw terminals accept the control wiring; no auxiliary contacts are integrated (leading contact 0, instantaneous contact 0), so any remote status indication must come from the breaker's own auxiliary switch block. The 68 mm depth is shallower than a full-frame breaker, so it does not increase the overall panel depth beyond what the breaker itself requires.
The reference code per EN 61346-2 is F, which classifies it as a protective device in the function-oriented designation system. The design of short-circuit protection is fuse-based, consistent with the SIRIUS system architecture.
