The 3RW4038-1TB05: An integrated bypass contact closes once the motor reaches full speed, taking the thyristors out of the current path. This eliminates semiconductor conduction losses during run, so the derating applies mainly to the start cycle duty, not continuous operation.
Size S2 frame — DIN-rail footprint and wiring
Size S2 frame measures 55 mm wide by 160 mm high by 170 mm deep. Screw and snap-on mounting onto standard DIN rail — no backplate drilling needed. The 170 mm depth is the dimension behind the panel face; allow 60 mm clearance above and 40 mm below for cable bend radius. Main circuit terminals accept stranded wire up to 25 mm² (2x 1.5–25 mm² per clamping point). Solid wire range is 0.5–2.5 mm².
