Rated current and thermal derating
The 3RW4055-2BB35: Derating temperature threshold is 40 °C; above that the continuous current must be reduced per the curve in the product manual.
Mounting and enclosure fit
Screw-fixed mounting, size S6 frame — 250 mm deep, 120 mm wide, 198 mm tall. The depth is the dimension that usually dictates the enclosure back-panel clearance; at 250 mm it fits a standard 300 mm deep cabinet with room for the busbar connections behind. Mounting position is restricted: with the optional fan the unit can be rotated ±90° on a vertical surface and tilted ±22.5° front-to-back; without the fan the tilt tolerance drops to ±10° in both axes. Pollution degree 3 per IEC 60947-4-2 — suitable for industrial environments with conductive dust or occasional condensation.
Wire termination and busbar connections
Main current circuit uses busbar connection; auxiliary contacts accept 2x (24–16 AWG) solid or stranded. The main circuit terminals accept 2x (25–120 mm²) stranded or 2x (16–95 mm²) finely stranded, plus 4–250 kcmil for the main contacts. The front and back clamping points both take 6–2/0 AWG; using both clamping points maxes at 2x 1/0.
