Inside-delta circuit capability means the soft starter can be wired in the delta legs of a delta-connected motor, reducing the current rating required from the soft starter to 58% of the motor FLA. Confirm the motor winding configuration before specifying this wiring method.
Mounting and terminal specs for the panel build
Dimensions are 270 mm deep, 170 mm wide, 192 mm high. The mounting position allows vertical surface with ±90° rotation and ±22.5° tilt front-to-back, giving flexibility in tight enclosures. Screw fixing is the fastening method. Clearance requirements: 100 mm upwards, 75 mm downwards, 5 mm at the sides. These are the minimum air gaps for cooling airflow and arc flash containment — respect them in the gland plate layout. Maximum wire length to the motor is 500 m.

Protection and control features for the motor circuit
Motor overload protection and intrinsic device protection are both integrated. Adjustable current limitation lets the starting current be set between 0 and the rated value, protecting both the motor and the driven load during acceleration. Minimum load is 8% of the soft starter rating — below this the motor current may not be reliably detected. The display provides fault signal readout for diagnostics. External reset is supported for remote restart after a trip. Degree of pollution 3 per IEC 60947-4-2 means the unit is rated for conductive pollution environments typical in industrial panels without climate control.
