281 A at 40 °C — the motor current ceiling
The 3RW4436-6BC34: For a 250 A motor in a 50 °C panel, this unit holds the margin; above that, step up a frame. Insulation voltage rated 690 V, operating frequency 50 to 60 Hz at 115 V control voltage — the control transformer and line reactor must match the 115 V coil tap.
Thyristor ramp with adjustable current limit
Thyristor-based switching with adjustable current limitation — set the start ramp ceiling below the motor locked-rotor current to limit inrush on the supply transformer. Minimum load 8 % of rated current means it can soft-start a lightly loaded conveyor without dropping out. Motor overload protection and intrinsic device protection are built in — the display shows fault codes for diagnostics without a separate HMI.
Panel fit and power wiring
Depth 270 mm, width 170 mm, height 200 mm — screw fixing to a vertical mounting surface, rotatable ±90° or tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back. Clearance: 100 mm above, 75 mm below, 5 mm at the sides for airflow. Maximum motor cable length 500 m — keep the run within that to avoid reflected-wave stress on the thyristors.
