Built-in bypass and inside-delta wiring
An integrated bypass contact system switches the thyristors out after start-up, eliminating the external bypass contactor and saving panel space. The inside-delta circuit option lets you wire the soft starter in the motor delta loop — this reduces the current rating needed by roughly 58% compared to in-line wiring, so a smaller unit can handle the same motor. Motor overload protection is built in, and the adjustable current limitation lets you set the start current ceiling between 2x and 5x FLA depending on the load.
