1864 A at 40 °C — the rating that governs the motor line
The 3RW4465-6BC34: That 40 °C figure is the baseline for sizing — if your panel ambient runs hotter, the available motor current drops by roughly 10 % per 10 °C rise.
Integrated bypass and protection — what the hardware carries
An integrated bypass contact system means the thyristors are shorted out once the motor reaches full speed, eliminating heat dissipation in the power stack during run. This lets the enclosure breathe easier — no separate bypass contactor to wire or coordinate. Motor overload protection, intrinsic device protection, and adjustable current limitation are all onboard. The minimum load is 8 % of the rated current, so it handles lightly loaded motors without nuisance tripping.
Mounting and panel fit — 780 x 575 x 292 mm
Dimensions are 780 mm height, 575 mm width, 292 mm depth. Mounting is screw fixing with a vertical surface — the unit can be rotated ±90° or tilted ±22.5° front/back. Clearance requirements: 100 mm upwards, 75 mm downwards, 5 mm at the sides. Main circuit connection uses busbar with stranded cable 70–240 mm² or finely stranded 50–240 mm².
