Bypass kit for 3RW44 soft starters — field retrofit
The 3RW4755-0KC00 is a bypass unit — a dedicated kit that shunts the power semiconductors in the soft starter once the motor reaches full speed, eliminating continuous I²R losses through the thyristors. It mounts as a retrofit on 3RW44 frames 3RW4453, 3RW4454, and 3RW4455. This keeps the motor at line voltage during run, dropping the thermal load on the soft starter and extending its duty cycle for heavy-start applications like crushers or conveyors.
