Firmware compatibility and cable — the gotcha

This module requires the 3RW44 soft starter to have firmware version E05 or later (implemented from May 2006 delivery). If the starter in the panel is older, the display will not communicate — check the firmware revision before cutting the door. The connecting cable (2.5 m, order code 3UF7933-0BA00-0) is not included in the scope of delivery. Budget for it separately; a standard Ethernet patch cable will not work.
