Panel fit and mounting constraints
The 3RW5077-2TB14 measures 160 mm wide by 230 mm high by 282 mm deep, screw-fixed to a vertical mounting surface. It can be rotated ±90° or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward, with clearance requirements: 100 mm upward, 75 mm downward, 10 mm forward, 5 mm at the side, and 0 mm backward.
Motor starting profiles and protection
Rated minimum operating current is 240 A across a 200-480 V supply (50/60 Hz). The trip class is selectable between CLASS 10A, 10E (preset), and 20E per IEC 60947-4-2 — CLASS 10A suits standard-start loads; 20E extends the ramp for high-inertia starts without nuisance tripping. Voltage ramp, soft torque, and pump ramp-down profiles are built in. The minimum load setting is 15 % of the smallest settable Ie, which covers light-load applications like unloaded conveyors.
Fieldbus and control integration
Native fieldbus support includes PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP. PROFINET with PROFIenergy is available via the standard communication module — useful for coordinated energy management in automated lines. Auto-reset is standard; remote reset is achieved by cycling the control supply voltage (110-250 V at 50/60 Hz). No analog output, no torque control, and no HMI high-feature on this variant.
Compliance and hazardous-area readiness
Carries ATEX and IECEx certification for potentially explosive atmospheres, plus CE, UL, and CSA markings. This covers installations under ATEX 2014/34/EU and IECEx Scheme, as well as North American NEC/CEC — one part number for global hazardous-area motor starting. Shock resistance rated 15 g / 11 ms, with potential contact lifting above 12 g / 11 ms. Service factor is 1.0 — no overload margin beyond nameplate.
