Pump-specific ramp-down and soft torque
Pump Ramp Down is built in — the soft starter controls the deceleration profile to prevent water hammer and pressure surges on pump start/stop cycles. Soft Torque mode reduces the initial current spike further, useful for conveyors or belt-driven loads where a hard start stresses the mechanical train.
Ambient derating and mounting constraints
Rated for -25 to +60 °C during operation, but derating applies above 40 °C — the continuous output current must be reduced per the manufacturer's curve, which affects the motor full-load current the starter can handle in a warm enclosure. Mounting position is flexible: vertical surface with ±90° rotation and ±22.5° tilt front-to-back, though the clearance requirements are specific — 100 mm upwards, 75 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, 5 mm sideways, and 0 mm backwards.
