The Trip Class is selectable among CLASS 10A (default), 10E, and 20E per IEC 60947-4-2, which governs how quickly the starter trips on overload relative to motor thermal capacity — CLASS 10A suits standard squirrel-cage motors with fast start-up, while 20E gives more headroom for high-inertia loads that take longer to accelerate.

Fieldbus-ready: PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU/TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET

This soft starter ships with onboard support for PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET — covering the major industrial Ethernet and fieldbus topologies. PROFIenergy is also supported when used with the PROFINET communication module, allowing coordinated energy management during idle phases.
